Each year, we only accept very few applicants into our Ph.D. program. Our lab usually takes 1-2 students.

The students in our lab (you can visit our lab member page) have the following characteristics:

• They are genuinely happy (you can see our philosophy)
• Their prior academic performance is outstanding
• They are highly motivated
• They work very hard
• They are ready to graduate with Ph.D. within 4 years

If you are interested in becoming one of the family, please send your intention with supporting materials (resume, GPA, GRE scores, etc) to licwang@ece.ucsb.edu. During Jan-Feb timeframe, we will start considering applications. It is usually not known before that how many new students we can take for the coming academic year.
